L is for Lager is another lovely lager brewed with some old pals starting a new brewery - Olfactory Brewing. This pale lager is excessively smooth and drinkable, but packs an aromatic punch. Aromas of fresh hay, wild flowers, pear and lemon zest from the noble-esue, Lorien, Saphir, and Loral Cryo leap from the glass. Whole cone Saaz in the mash along with the heirloom Barke pilsner malt lay down a classic foundation of honey and subtle spice. It’s extremely soft and smooth like a classic pale lager, but highly aromatic (almost like an Italian Style Pils).
