The burnt gold of a dusty sunset paints the world around you, but the heat won’t quit. The salsa at this taco stand is spicier than most – of course, that’s why you come here – and a bead of sweat forms on your brow. You remember the cool drink in front of you, and take a sip. ¡Díos mío! Bright grapefruit and herbal lime smack you across the face. A lively carbonation jumps out of the glass and tickles your nose. Halfway to setting your glass down you already need another sip. This is summer in a glass. The world breathes. You are alive.

Such is the vibe of Paloma, a citrusy pale ale inspired by one of our favorite cocktails. Grapefruit, lime zest, and NZ Motueka hops mingle together creating bright layers of citrus with a dash of herbaceousness. Agave dries the beer out while a touch of acidity livens up the flavor. Best paired with spicy tacos and dusty sunsets.
