Our pals at Ghost Town came by to brew this hoppy AF West Coast IPA. Bru-1, a relative newcomer to the hop scene, dominates the aroma with bright, juicy pineapple. Simcoe Cryo and a splash of delicious Motueka add sweet apricot and citrusy lime notes, along with a hint of shaved nutmeg. It has that pallet coating, full mouth bitterness you get from a kettle full to the brim with high alpha hops. The crisp, honeyed notes of pilsner malt entangle with the tropical hop aromas, while a dash of rye and light crystal malt lend enough texture to support the hops, while not distracting from them.
