Point of Origin is a crisp, pale, malt forward Export Lager is a true brewer’s beer. Think of it like a Helles, but with a little extra alcohol and hops to help it stay fresh during transport. We used the finest German malt available - an heirloom variety known as Barke. A careful step mash process brings out the best bready and doughy flavors from the malt, while creating a luxurious mouthfeel. An extra helping of Tettnang hops keeps it continental - lending a mildly herbal and subtly fruity hop character to balance the maltiness. Patient fermentation and lagering lets the beer mellow, softening the edges.
